Steven Krause holds 35 years experience in business development and government relations, creating new ventures and capturing new business in aerospace, defense and security markets around the world. A Principal with Catalyst Partners, he works with clients on domestic and international business design, decision analysis and capture strategy. He has extensive experience in U.S. Arms Export Control Act, Missile Technology Control Regime and Foreign Corrupt Practices Act compliance.
Krause formerly worked for The Boeing Company across numerous defense and business development projects, including international growth strategy, border security, and military and civilian aviation programs. He also led marketing in international defense systems, unmanned systems, rotorcraft, commercial aircraft and advanced integrated security solutions. His industry career included long-term assignments in Europe, the Pacific Rim, the Middle East and the United States.
Krause formerly worked in the Missouri House of Representatives and holds a master’s in public administration from the University of Missouri Harry S. Truman School of Public Affairs and a bachelor of arts in political science and communication from William Jewell College. He completed additional studies at the Harvard Business School, Washington University in St. Louis and Southern Methodist University.
Steve was born in the United States and raised in Germany. He, his wife Pam and their two children, Anna and Aaron, have lived in Saudi Arabia, Korea and Germany, as well as throughout the United States. Steve is also an instrument rated private pilot and holds a top secret clearance.
