As Southeast Market Development Manager, Rish Wood brings more than 35 years of business development, management, marketing, advertising, telecommunications, broadcasting and public relations experience to Catalyst. Mr. Wood’s responsibilities at Catalyst include seeking and developing new clients, engaging teams of different firms to help capture new business, and assisting existing clients in developing synergies to build business opportunities.

Prior to his joining Catalyst, Mr. Wood served as President of Telecash, LLC, a consulting and marketing firm in Birmingham, Alabama. He also served for 12 years as Managing Partner of Rainbow Advertising Group, a full-range marketing, public relations and advertising consulting company.

His extensive experience in the television, radio, print media and record industries spanned three decades. His career included stints as President, Owner, General Manager, Station Manager, Sales Manager, Marketing Director and Promotion Director. He helped set sales and profit records at several of the firms he led.

Mr. Wood began his career at Southern Broadcasting’s WSGN-AM, Birmingham in 1971. He holds a B.S. in Business Administration degree from Samford University in Birmingham.
