Jeffrey Faszcza has joined Catalyst Partners as a principal in the firm. Faszcza brings over 32 years of experience in direct management and strategic business development to one of D.C.’s most respected homeland security government relations and business development firms. 

Most recently, Mr. Faszcza served as the Executive Director of Washington Operations of United Technologies Corporation’s Hamilton Sundstrand Division.  While at Hamilton Sundstrand, Faszcza was responsible for managing the corporation’s activities and developing market strategies for both government affairs and commercial business. Faszcza oversaw the Congressional lobbying associated with legislative and policy matters for the company.   He also served as representative to the agencies of the U.S. Government, in particular the Department of Defense (DOD), the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the Department of Energy (DOE).

Faszcza’s background in working with the NASA dates back to the beginnings of the Space Shuttle program. He gained additional experience working on the International Space Station, and his work continues today with the Constellation program.   In the early Nineties, Faszcza played a critical role in negotiating programs on behalf of NASA with the Russian Space Agency and other supporting industries.

Faszcza also helped Hamilton Sundstrand develop and win a series of DHS contracts related to Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and Explosive Events (CBRNE) detection, among them was to a project to build, equip and operate a mobile trailer designed to give first responders the ability to do in-depth chemical analysis at almost any incident location.

A graduate of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with a Master’s Degree in business management, Mr. Faszcza has also completed advanced studies at the Darden School of Business, University of Virginia.
