Kelly Woods Vaughn joined the InfraGard National Members Alliance (INMA) May 2012, as the Managing Director. In this role, she works closely with the InfraGard Members Alliances (IMA), the FBI Public – Private Alliance (PPAU), other government agencies, and private sector partners to facilitate cross-communication and outreach promoting the InfraGard Program.
Before joining INMA, Ms. Woods Vaughn was a Business Development Manager at Metters, Inc., a Small Disadvantaged Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). At Metters, she was the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Account Manager responsible for identifying and capturing new business opportunities to expand the existing work portfolio. This entailed applying strong interpersonal, coordination, and organizational skills to work closely with the internal staff of Program Management and Contracts staff, the Government PMO, and industry partners to establish and maintain strong and trusted relationships.
Previously, Ms. Woods Vaughn was the Business Development Manager for the DHS Account at Wiser Company, a Geospatial Intel Company, where she played a key role in the implementation of best practices to build a high functioning Management Account Team and implement a sound business development process.
Before this, Ms. Woods Vaughn worked at SAIC for 17 years. She worked across corporate management and the business units to support revenue growth and achieve coordination and cooperation. She was instrumental in structuring and implementing the GWAC Center and the Corporate Account Management Program, including building cross functional DHS account teams. She worked closely with the DHS Account Executive to develop and execute the DHS Corporate Strategic Plan. Ms. Woods Vaughn also performed business development activities to drive revenue growth and used her skills to foster strong and lasting relationships with large and small businesses, as well as existing and potential clients. Ms. Woods Vaughn was also instrumental in performing critical tasks that resulted in the SAIC GWAC Center in achieving CMMI level 5 Certification within 2 years.
